We had a great Christmas. Snow, food, gifts, jigsaw puzzles, candles and rest. I made five different pickled herring and we tried wild boar instead of farmed pig for the Christmas ham. Success!
One of our neighbors used to give us wild boar meat from Christmas. I'm glad he's stopped, because I didn't enjoy preparing it, a process that takes three whole days. Personally, I'd rather eat pickled herrings than wild boar:) Happy Holidays, and happy 2011 Malo!
