Our house is out on the market. These photos are from the ad. It feels exciting and strange. Less sad than I thought. I guess I have processed the whole thing for a long time. And I am so happy to leave the city. Another life is waiting. I am grateful that we have the opportunity. Here's the whole ad.

My family is gone for the weekend, visiting relatives. Me and the cats at home. I have been at the stable today. Riding in the woods, grooming, sweeping. Wonderful. My husband brought the camera with him but tomorrow I will take pictures of lilac petals covering the ground. For now a photo from last week. Inside, trying to organize.

The best thing about coming home after a two weeks vacation is to find out what has happened in the garden. When we came home last night, I stumbled around in the dark, trying to see what had grown and what was dead. Later, in the morning light I found out that we had a lot of over grown squash to take care of and enough ripe tomatoes for three meals and sweet peas growing like mad. Now we have a bouqet of sweet peas in every room and I feel so grateful to have a garden.

I didn't set a foot in my garden today. Stayed in bed all day. New obsession, crocheting. An old favourite, PD James. A crossword puzzle. A great day.
