June. I've been struggeling with this lavender border. I wanted the bushes to follow the pavement. I can't count how mant times I  have moved these poor plants. But obvioulsly they manage.

Trying to summarize the garden highlights of 2010. This is June and the bloom of Nevada. One of my favourite roses. It's a remontant but the first blooming is overwhelming. The 7 feet high bush looks like a pile of folded napkins. If you want the bush to bloom through the season you have to cut the overblown. My favourite garden chore.

Walking in the garden right now means slipping on rotten apples hiding in the not cut since July grass. Beautiful blooming going on out there though.
